To begin setup of your report, click the Add Report button in the top left corner of the frame and edit the name and add any applicable notes. In the main frame, you can begin customizing the cover page of your report including project name, authoring details, and company logo. Once completed, you can then add as many content sections to your report as desired.
Sections consist of Alert Trigger History, Graphs, X/Y Graphs, Polar Graphs, Image, and Notes. For each section, you can select existing profiles and all of their associated sensor selections, metrics, time period, and custom configuration parameters. Simply select them from the profile list and the profile will be added to your report.
For each section, you will have the option to edit the title as well as include additional data - including data tables, Alerts, and Notes. See each option below:
Once you are satisfied with the content of your report, schedule automated delivery of your report by enabling the Report Scheduler. You will be able to schedule Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports - with customized parameters for delivery of each within that period.
Next, select additional recipients for delivery of your report. Any member of your organization, or organization that your administrator has configured cross-organizational sharing can be selected.(1)
This can also be done by clicking the share icon to right right of the report name.
Finally, once you have completed with the addition of sections to your report, you can immediately test the report by clicking the Generate Now button. The report will immediately be generated and sent to the email address associated with your sensemetrics account. You also have the option to immediately send the report to all receipts that the report is being shared with.
(1) Note: At this time you can not add email receipts that are not registered on the sensemetrics app.
Deleting a Report
At some point you may wish to delete a report or stop receiving the emailed report. There are several ways this can be done depending on the permissions of the report.
If you are the OWNER of the report you can:
1. Delete the report entirely by clicking the
2. Edit the report to send less frequently or disable the report from being sent at all.
3. Change the viewing permissions of everyone on the report, including yourself.
This is a good option if you would like the report schedule to stay active but stop receiving the report. To do this click and assign ownership of the report to the appropriate person and then set your permissions to "None".
If you have EDITING permissions of the report you can:
- Edit the report to send less frequently or disable the report from being sent at all.
- Change the viewing permissions of everyone on the report except the owner. This includes yourself.
This is a good option if you would like the report schedule to stay active but stop receiving the report. To do this click and then set your permissions to "None".
If you have Viewing permissions of the report you can:
- Only view the report and only change your permission to "None"
