For DHCP Configuration
1. Connect Port 2 to a network switch using an Ethernet cable.
2. Open up a browser (Preferably Chrome) on a network attached device and enter the IP address assigned to the device by the network DHCP server. If the assigned DHCP address is unknown, continue through Static IP Address configuration steps 1 - 8 to verify the address.
3. Login using credentials:
Username: admin
Password: 6 Digit connect code from label on back of device
For Static IP Address Configuration
1. Connect PORT 2 to a network switch using an ethernet cable
2. Connect laptop to PORT 1 using an Ethernet Cable
3. Configure network adapter on laptop to:
IP Address: 18.0.0.45
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
4. Open browser and enter the following URL:
http://18.0.0.42/
5. Login using credentials:
Username: admin
Password: 6 Digit connect code from label on back of device
6. Select the "Settings icon in the upper right corner
7. Click on the "System" tab on the left
8. Your current DHCP assigned address (if any) will be listed in the "Address" field.
9. If desired, uncheck "Enable DHCP" and configure the desired IP Address and subnet mask
10. Click "Submit" to save the changes
11. Open a browser on a network attached device or computer and enter the IP address assigned.
12. Use the same credentials from before to login to the appliance.
